This episode goes through how you can use TextMate to convert your blog writing to proper HTML very quickly if you are not using a visual editor.
TextMate is an excellent tool for, well, pretty much everything. While I use Scrivener to write my post, I use TextMate to quickly convert it to HTML before publishing.
